Testing and certificates

Every peptide lot is tested for purity by HPLC before release, and each lot has its own certificate of analysis.

Representative HPLC trace at 220 nm, retention time in minutes. One dominant peak is what a high-purity lot looks like.

Request a certificate of analysis

Enter the lot number from your vial or packing slip and we’ll email you that lot’s COA, including its HPLC chromatogram.

Find the lot number on your vial or packing slip. This opens an email to support@aminograde.com with the lot filled in.

How a lot gets released

  1. Synthesis

Peptides are assembled residue by residue using solid-phase peptide synthesis.

  2. Purification

Preparative HPLC removes truncated and side-product sequences, then the peptide is lyophilized and sealed.

  3. Analysis

Analytical HPLC measures the purity of every lot before release.

  4. Release

Lots that meet specification are released with a certificate of analysis under their lot number.

Reading a COA

HPLC purity

Liquid chromatography separates a sample into its components. Purity is the target peptide’s peak area as a share of all detected peaks.

Lot traceability

Each COA belongs to one lot. Check that the lot number on the certificate matches your order before you start work.

Vial sizes

Fill is stated on every label. Products offered in more than one size are tested and certified by lot for each size.
